Can I change the speed and pitch?
Yes. Use the Rate slider to adjust speed (0.5x to 2x) and the Pitch slider to adjust voice pitch (0.5 to 2). The default is normal speed and pitch.
Is there a character limit?
Most browsers support up to about 32,000 characters per utterance. For very long texts, the tool automatically splits them into smaller chunks.
Can I download the audio?
The Web Speech API does not support audio download directly. The speech plays through your device speakers. For downloadable audio, a server-side TTS engine would be needed.
